NAB is the leading global event for the broadcast, media and entertainment industries.

Exhibiting at booth C5220, MRMC will celebrate its 60th anniversary by showcasing how six decades of engineering excellence continue to shape the future of visual storytelling in a sports-theme booth concept. Through precision robotics, versatile hardware, and an open, vendor-agnostic ecosystem, visitors will see how the company enables both creative and technical teams to deliver dynamic, high-end content across film, broadcast and high-end productions worldwide.

Attendees will see the latest evolution of the Roaming Pedestal System (RPS) by MRMC Broadcast, which will debut FreeD tracking capabilities, outputting real-time XYZ and pan, tilt, zoom, focus (PTZF) data. There will also be the launch of a new product: the Kronos Curved Rail System from Slidekamera by MRMC. Also premiering is LiveTrack AI, a computer-vision technology that enables robotic systems to maintain autonomous, cinematic framing of moving subjects in real-time.

Powering Sports Broadcast: Integrated Workflows with Disguise

A dedicated sports studio environment will demonstrate how robotic camera technology is transforming the future of live broadcast coverage. The Full Range of Motion demonstration area will showcase a variety of camera angles and perspectives achievable with automated broadcast robotics, illustrating how modern studios can unlock dynamic new storytelling possibilities.

MRMC will showcase a Virtual Production and Augmented Reality (AR) workflow developed in partnership with Disguise, highlighting how robotic precision enables dynamic camera movement around graphics, enhancing “through-the-lens” visuals.

The main highlight is the evolution of the Roaming Pedestal System (RPS). The award-winning RPS-C2 with lift column, alongside the new RPS-LT robotic arm variant, will debut FreeD tracking capabilities, delivering real-time XYZ and pan, tilt, zoom and focus (PTZF) data. This allows direct integration with third-party graphics engines, eliminating the need for external tracking systems in VP and AR workflows.

Finally, the company will also unveil the latest addition; the new Kronos Curved Rail System from Slidekamera by MRMC. Designed as a modular permanent installation for demanding broadcast environments, Kronos supports upright or underslung configurations and enables custom radius curves and complex bidirectional S curves within a single system.

Introducing LiveTrack AI: Subject Tracking for the Next Generation of Cinematography

MRMC is set to introduce LiveTrack AI, a computer-vision advancement integrated into its industry-standard Flair software. This feature enables robotic cameras to automatically maintain cinematic framing of moving subjects during complex multi-axis manoeuvres. By leveraging real-time image analysis from the primary camera feed, LiveTrack AI identifies subjects and applies continuous compositional adjustments, ensuring the shot stays locked on target without the need for constant manual oversight.

Unlike standard auto-tracking systems that often override programmed paths, LiveTrack AI intelligently blends tracking corrections with the robot's pre-set trajectory. This allows creators to preserve the intended "feel" of a camera move while dynamically adapting to a subject’s natural motion. The result is a seamless, professional aesthetic that reduces operator workload across live sports, virtual production, and high-end cinema, offering a sophisticated, future-proof solution for any environment where precision is non-negotiable.

The Motion Control area will also showcase its full Cinebot range; the Cinebot Max, the Cinebot Mini and the latest addition, the Cinebot Nano. This immersive interactive display will highlight the power of motion control and robotic precision in professional content creation and NAB attendees will have the opportunity to get hands-on and interact with the Cinebots, shooting objects on the stand.
