A cloud-native monitoring and multiviewer service delivering real-time visibility, automated alerts, and diagnostics for distributed environments. See it at NAB 2026.

Nevada City, California – March 31, 2026 – Telestream, the global leader in media workflow orchestration and quality monitoring, today introduced UP.Lens, a cloud-based multiviewer and monitoring service that provides real-time visibility into contribution feeds across distributed production environments. UP.Lens is part of Telestream UP, a cloud-native platform that supports global ingest, orchestration, review, and real-time monitoring for modern production workflows. NAB 2026 attendees can see UP.Lens in action at the Telestream booth (W1503).

UP.Lens introduces an “Eyes-on-Glass” multiviewer that delivers real-time visual confidence alongside a built-in troubleshooting “time-machine” that allows operators to rewind and analyze issues as they occur. Together, these capabilities give engineering and production teams the visibility and context needed to monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues before they impact live production.

Operators can monitor multiple incoming streams simultaneously, visually confirm signal integrity, and quickly identify issues such as packet loss, jitter, black and frozen frames, or audio silence before they impact production or distribution.

“UP.Lens was designed to close the observability gap that has emerged as live production workflows move into the cloud,” said Matthew Driscoll, VP of Product Management, Telestream. “Operators still need the same ‘eyes-on-glass’ confidence they’ve always relied on – but in distributed environments, that visibility is often lost. UP.Lens is a cloud-native solution that automatically deploys those critical monitoring services, keeping pace with today’s workflow operations. In live sports, remote productions, and multi-venue events, where teams are managing multiple contribution feeds under tight timelines, this level of visibility is essential to maintaining broadcast quality and operational confidence.”

No more cloud blindness
While IP-based protocols such as SRT make it possible to transport high-quality video over long distances, they also introduce new complexities in monitoring signal health across distributed infrastructure. As live production workflows move into the cloud, operations teams are increasingly left with an observability gap, a loss of real-time visual confidence and historical context at the very moments they need it most. UP.Lens addresses this challenge by extending monitoring directly to the contribution edge, ensuring operators maintain insight into every incoming feed regardless of where it originates.

UP.Lens combines traditional multiview monitoring with intelligent analytics that detect anomalies in signal behavior. Operators can monitor video confidence feeds, analyze performance metrics, and receive automated alerts triggered by conditions such as network issues, content quality, ad signaling, and captioning conditions that degrade the viewer experience. A built-in stream rewind capability allows operators to review feeds and identify exactly when a signal began to degrade, helping accelerate troubleshooting during live events.

UP.Lens capabilities include:

‘Eyes-on-Glass’ Confidence Multiviewer
Configurable multiviewer dashboards with customizable layouts and priority signal monitoring
Penalty box sorting to automatically surface degrading or failing feeds, enabling faster response
Low-latency proxy streams with full frame-rate video and audio level monitoring for real-time verification
Secure, shareable multiviewer views for collaboration with external partners

Troubleshooting Time-Machine (Incident Rewind)
Time-aligned diagnostics correlating thumbnails, alarms, and KPIs associated with network performance and content quality.
Historical trending to identify when issues began and how conditions evolved
Retrospective analysis for post-event review, compliance validation, and operational improvement

Cloud-Native Architecture
Flexible sensor deployment across SaaS, VPC, or hybrid environments
Rapid spin-up of new contribution feeds (typically under 45 seconds), supporting event-driven workflows

Compliance & Monetization Validation
SCTE-35 and caption monitoring for ad integrity and regulatory compliance
Real-time validation with historical reporting

A Connection to Capture
Within the UP platform, UP.Capture provides elastic cloud-based ingest for SRT contribution feeds, allowing teams to spin up ingest channels on demand without deploying additional infrastructure. UP.Lens complements this capability by monitoring those feeds in real time, creating a seamless ingest-to-monitoring pipeline that gives production teams confidence in the health of every incoming signal.
