Open video transport network simplifies satellite transition with new partnerships and global reach as spectrum auction nears
LTN will demonstrate how its purpose-built global IP network simplifies satellite-to-IP migration for broadcasters, cable networks, MVPDs and station groups at NAB Show 2026 (#W2100). As satellite spectrum auctions approach and media organizations look for scalable, high-performance video transport alternatives, LTN is delivering reliable, trusted IP migration pathways for large-scale channel distribution and live sports events.
“The C-Band auction is fast approaching and media organizations are moving hundreds of channels and critical live sports workflows to reliable IP alternatives,” said Malik Khan, Executive Chairman & Co-Founder at LTN. “The scale and capabilities of our network are growing at unprecedented speed. Customers partner with us because LTN outperforms unmanaged, non-guaranteed IP solutions and rain-fade impacted Ku-band options that fail to meet the demands of high-value live broadcasting. This transition is a fundamental turning point for our industry and will be central to many discussions at NAB.”
Key technology innovations and booth demonstrations include:
Migrating channels from satellite to IP: LTN will showcase how broadcast and cable networks can move hundreds of channels from declining C-Band spectrum to LTN’s low-latency, purpose-built global IP network – including conditional access, intelligent routing, deep video monitoring and tooling with always-on technical operations center (TOC) support.
Open network and partner ecosystem: Alongside advances in interoperability and reach across headends and platforms, LTN will show how new and expanded partnerships simplify satellite migration and scale IP-native live video workflows, including Dataminer, Harmonic, and MediaKind.
Satellite replacement for live sports: Enabling all-IP venue access and contribution for the most demanding live sports – including the public debut of LTN’s integration with Appear’s high-performance, ultra-low latency encoding platform. LTN will also demonstrate its live sports master control (MCR), playout and content versioning solutions, powering customized delivery and localized ad enablement across digital, OTT and FAST platforms.
LTN will join customers and partners in the following panels at NAB Show:
