LAS VEGAS, March 11, 2025 - TVNewsCheck’s Women in Technology Awards is taking center stage at NAB this year, celebrating outstanding achievements and paving the way for the next generation of women driving innovation in media and entertainment technology.

During the 14th annual awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 8, at 5 p.m. PT, three visionary leaders will be honored for their contributions to the future of media technology. Swati Karkun Sen, Jacqueline Voss of Riedel, and Nina Walsh of Amazon Web Services will each receive the Women in Technology Futurist Award on the West Hall Main Stage at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

These three women embody leadership, innovation, and influence, shaping the future of media and entertainment technology, redefining industry standards, while inspiring the next generation of talent.

Sen has played a key role in keeping NBC News, MSNBC, and CNBC at the forefront of breaking news and development of new consumer solutions. With a deep passion for media and a strong foundation in technology, she has introduced transformative operational strategies and helped NBCU News Group evolve globally.

Voss made headlines with her work on Red Bull Stratos’ capsule communications. From developing cutting-edge communications for Formula 1 cars to enhancing referee systems, she continues to push boundaries of technology. Most recently, she played a key role in developing Riedel’s new Easy5G private network solution.

Walsh has rapidly risen through the ranks at AWS, recently expanding her portfolio to include games and sports. With a unique blend of technology, operations, and industry insight, she led a global team to develop new solutions for the media industry. She is also a strong advocate for sustainability, diversity, and mentorship, helping shape a more inclusive and forward-thinking industry.
